Jordan Garelick is an artist with a focus on painting and illustration based in Colorado. He grew up in Denver and moved to Chicago in 2018 where he studied at the Art Institute of Chicago.

He works primarily with oil, pastel, and charcoal. Creating pieces that deal with emotion, storytelling and connection — especially between human spirit and nature. His trans experience informs his work and how he sees harmony in strength and gentleness. Motion and whimsicality is expressed in much of his work. Bringing these scenes into the physical world becomes a release and healing process, using memory and intuition to give form to strong feelings.
